Arrest on 11XX MEDGAR EVARS STREET, ANNAPOLIS, MD

On Friday, March 12, 2010 at approximately 5:09 AM members of the Annapolis Police Department (APD) Narcotics Unit and Annapolis Special Emergency Team (ASET) executed a search and seizure at 1150 Medgar Evers Street. While the search of the premises was being conducted, officers saw a pair of blue jeans being thrown from a bedroom window. The jeans were recovered and 108 grams of crack cocaine with a street value of more than $10,000 was found inside the right rear pocket. Two subjects were located inside the house and identification belonging to one of the suspects was also found in the pants. Further search of the residence uncovered 57 grams of crack cocaine with a street value of nearly $6000 and 85.9 grams of marihuana with a street value of nearly $2000. Numerous pieces of paraphernalia, a set of stolen tags and some US currency were also seized. The following subjects were arrested and charged: Saunders, Tavon Antonio, DOB 05/18/87, 2 Peale Ct. Annapolis, Md. 21403 is charged with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine in a large amount and related charges. Crowdy, Shaneice Chantel, DOB 11/17/88, 1150 Medgar Evers Street, Annapolis, Md. 21403 is charged with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine in a large amount, possession of marihuana with intent to distribute, possession of paraphernalia and theft.
