01/23/2010 06:29 PM. A bandit threatened to stick a needle in the eye of a sandwich shop worker Saturday if he didn't hand over money, state police said. It happened shortly before 6:30 p.m. at Casapulla's on Del. 1 at Lighthouse Plaza just north of Rehoboth Beach. The thief told the clerk he had AIDS before making off with an undisclosed amount of money, said state police Sgt. Walter Newton.
