Three Jersey City men were charged with mugging a man on Journal Square early this morning and cops then found a sawed-off shotgun on a garbage bag nearby, but it's unclear it if the weapon is connected to the crime, police told The Jersey Journal. Officers arriving at Bergen Avenue and Newkirk Street around 1:49 a.m. on a report of a man being attacked found the 34-year-old victim, also a resident of Jersey City, repeatedly yelling, "What's wrong with you guys," as three men walked away, reports said. He told police the men had attacked him and took his mp3 player, which was later found on one of the suspects, reports said.
