12/10/2009 04:59 PM. Wilmington police today identified the boy who was shot dead Wednesday night in Wilmington's Southbridge area. Police said Dayveair Golden, 17, of the 500 block of Townsend Court, was found lying in a front yard outside his house, shot several times, shortly before 5 p.m. He was taken by New Castle County paramedics to Christiana Hospital and admitted in critical condition, but died at 6:15 p.m., authorities said. By then, investigators had learned he had been fighting with a pair of brothers, ages 17 and 18, who allegedly drew guns and shot him repeatedly before fleeing, said Wilmington Police Department Master Sgt.
