Assault - HALL AVENUE AND CHURCH STREET, WASHINGTON, PA - 11/11/2009

11/11/2009. Assault arrest: Derrick Andrews, 26, of 209 Orchard Ave., Canonsburg, was arrested Tuesday morning by Washington police after he allegedly assaulted Jeanna Main near the intersection of Hall Avenue and Church Street. Police said he allegedly pushed Main to the ground and held her face to the ground. When she got back up, he kicked her so hard that she again fell to the ground, police said. Andrews told police the two are engaged to be married. Andrews was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger on charges of simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct. He was placed in Washington County Jail on $5,000 percentage bond. View Source.
