11/08/2009 11:50 PM. Police are appealing for information following reports of a firearms incident in Edinburgh. Officers received reports of shots being fired on Muirhouse Place East on Sunday night. It is claimed the incident happened in the street, near to a front door. No-one was injured in the incident, which occured at around 11.50pm. Police say they are trying to piece together what happened and are appealing for witnesses to come forward. View Source.
