Burglary on 26XX MILLCREEK DR, SACRAMENTO, CA

11/07/2009 11:36 AM. Two Lieutenants responded to the area of a burglary with four suspects and a vehicle outstanding. A neighbor had seen these subjects try to gain entry to a house and called the police. Officers responded to another nearby neighborhood along the suspect's last direction of travel, located the suspect vehicle, and then located the four suspects in the middle of a second burglary.  A resident who ran outside with her shotgun gave officers an update on the suspects flight though her yard. Officer then chased the suspects and directed responding units until suspects went into a canal.  Four suspects caught in canal and another located nearby.  One suspect was apprehended by K-9.  Officers located stolen property in the canal where suspects were as well as in the suspect vehicle.  Three burglaries were connected to the suspects. 2600 block of Mill Creek, 200 block of Unity Circle, and 2600 block of Dorine Way.  Suspects were four male Blacks 18 yrs old, 16 yrs old, 20 yrs old, and 18 yrs old.  All were booked for burglary charges.  Case number: 09-337948.
