11/06/2009 02:39 AM. Officers responded to the area of Amtrak and the Dennys at 3rd and J St. Officer had observed two male Blacks running fast N/B across the Amtrak property. At the same time a call of a shooting came out at the Denny's nearby. Based on the information of the call it appeared that the 2 subjects running may have been responsible for the shooting. The subjects were able to elude Officers once they made it to the abandoned rail yard area. K9's responded to assist in the search with negative results. The victim had been shot in the restaurant parking lot and then transported from the scene by friends to Sutter General. The victim was then transported to UCD. Case number: 09-337708. |
