Shooting - 392XX IRISH CORNER RD., LOVETTSVILLE, VA - 10/27/2009

10/27/2009. Shooting/Barricade: Deputies responded to the area for a report of two victims of an apparent domestic related shooting. The suspect entered a residence on Irish Corner Road. The suspect allegedly fired several shots injuring two victims. The two victims fled from the residence on foot and ran to two nearby residences where authorities were contacted. An adult male victim was taken to INOVA Fairfax Hospital where he is listed in guarded condition. An adult female victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect barricaded himself in a residence in the 3900 Irish Corner Road. After the suspect ceased communicating with negotiators members of the Loudoun County Sheriff?s Office Emergency Response Team made entry and discovered the victim had taken his own life by a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
