10/27/2009 08:43 AM. APD responded to the hold up alarm at the Annapolis Professional Pharmacy in the 700 block of Giddings Avenue. The pharmacist told police that a man had walked up to the counter of the pharmacy, lifted his shirt to reveal a handgun and demanded the prescription drug Oxycontin. The pharmacist unlocked the drug cabinet and the suspect filled the pocket of his sweatshirt with bottles of the drug. The suspect left the store and headed toward Ridgley Avenue. A description was broadcast of a white male in his late 20’s or early 30’s, 5’8”-5’9”, 160 pounds wearing blue jeans, a black hooded sweat shirt with a black bandanna covering his face. The investigation is continuing. |
