10/25/2009. Two women who escaped injury during a gun attack on a house in Londonderry are lucky to be alive, it was claimed last night. The women were in a house in the Ballymagroarty area of the city when up to seven shots were fired at it. The shooting took place at Merriman Court shortly after 12am yesterday morning. A PSNI spokesman said two people were in the house at the time of the attack, but there were no reports of injuries. Boarded up windows could be seen at the front of the property yesterday.
