Robbery on 5XX W. 7TH STREET, FREDERICK, MD

10/16/2009 10:33 PM. INCIDENT/ INFORMATION: On the above date at approximately 2233 hrs. Officers from the Frederick Police Dept. responded to a reported armed robbery. The incident occurred at the BP Gas Station 503 W. 7th Street in Frederick. A W/M suspect entered the business and displayed a handgun. The suspect then ordered the attendant to give him money from the register. The suspect fled the business on foot, running to a vehicle in a nearby parking lot. The vehicle was later located in Linton Alley just off W. 7th Street. After identifying the vehicle as the one used during the robbery the owner was located at a residence in the 700 blk. of Trail Avenue. Subsequent investigation identified the van owner as the suspect who committed the robbery. The suspect was arrested without further incident; Detectives were called in to do the follow up investigation. Charges against the suspect are currently pending. View Source.
