10/15/2009 09:54 PM. INCIDENT/ INFORMATION: On 10/15/2009 at approximately 9:54 PM. Officers of the Frederick Police Department were dispatched to a burglary in progress at Brookside II Apartments, 160 Willowdale Drive, Building C. Upon arrival, the responding officers determined that 2 men, one armed with a shotgun, had knocked on the apartment door. When the tenant answered the door, the suspects entered the apartment and announced a robbery. The tenant and several guests were able to disarm one suspect, who fled on foot, and detain the second suspect until police arrived. The suspect was arrested by arriving officers and the shotgun was recovered at the scene. The investigation remains open at this time. |
