09/30/2009 02:57 PMTwo men in a white box truck tried to abduct a 15-years-old girl near Tollgate Lane and Monticello Drive. The girl fought off one of the men and ran into a nearby home where a resident called police.Police Chief said officers in three cruisers will patrol the area while students are walking home from school. Franklin Regional School District also has moved the bus stop in that area closer to a nearby housing plan. The truck is described as an older, white box truck with the colors yellow, blue and white on the side and a circle pattern in the center with a possible black "S". According to the police report, the two men asked the girl for directions and one man then followed the girl and tried to grab her backpack. |
