GUNPOINT ROBBERY: A 50-year-old Minquadale man had a gun placed to his head about 9:15 p.m. Thursday in the area of East Hazeldell Avenue and Lewes Street, said New Castle County Police Officer John Weglarz Sr. The victim had just left Lowe's on U.S. 13 and was going to see a friend who lives on Lewes Street when he was approached from behind by two men. One of them put a gun to his head and demanded his belongings. The two took some change, the victim's jacket and wallet and fled toward East Hazeldell Avenue. One of the men was dressed in a black hooded sweat shirt and blue jeans and had short hair and a thin mustache. The other was dressed similarly and was about 5 feet 7 and 140 pounds with a dark complexion and a hooded sweat shirt pulled over his head.
