( ABC 4 News)- Salt Lake City police are trying to find out what prompted an off-duty Salt Lake County Sheriff's Deputy to shoot a man during a brawl. It happened Saturday morning around 1:30 a.m. at the Green Street Social Club at 602 east 500 south. Salt Lake City Police Detective Dennis McGowan said,” It happened after or during a fight that occurred between some 10-15 persons at the nightclub. It's unknown what started the fight or what prompted or compelled the officer to draw his weapon.”
