TRY POLICE WERE SEEKING A GUNMAN WHO ATTEMPTED TO ROB A CAB DRIVER IN THE 8400 BLOCK OF GREENWAY ROAD ABOUT 6:30 P.M. MONDAY. AFTER THE CAB DRIVER PICKED UP THE PASSENGER AT EAST NORTHERN PARKWAY AND MCCLEAN BOULEVARD AND LATER STOPPED ON GREENWAY ROAD, THE PASSENGER PULLED OUT A HANDGUN AND TRIED TO STEAL THE DRIVER'S WATCH AND MONEY. WHEN THE DRIVER FENDED OFF THE GUN, THE MAN FLED WITHOUT MONEY OR PROPERTY.
