Another report of shots fired on the southwest side brought Madison police to the area early Tuesday morning. No one was injured in the incident, and no arrest has been made, according to a police report. A resident of the 5700 block of Russett Road called police about 1 a.m. Tuesday saying she heard two shots and saw a black male running away afterward. When officers arrived at the scene, a 32-year-old man approached them and said he had been in a driveway on the block when a man approach him and asked for a cigarette. He told police that when he said he didn't have any, the man pulled out a black semi-automatic handgun. The man told police he then ran and heard two shots, but was not injured.
