Officers on patrol noticed two unoccupied suspicious cars parked on Hunt Meadows Drive. The officers were able to watch the cars without being seen. Three male suspects were then seen as they walked up to the cars and loaded some items into them that they had been carrying. The suspects then left, with two of them in one of the cars, and one of them in the other. The one with the two suspects was stopped. Several pieces of car stereo equipment, a GPS , and a garage door opener were seen in the car. Investigation determined that some of these items had just been stolen from cars parked in the Hunt Meadows Community. The second suspect car was found on Ashford Drive, unoccupied. The suspect that had been operating that car was then found walking in the area. Investigation determined that he had taken the trunk lid off of a Honda Civic in Hunt Meadows. All three were arrested and charged with Theft and related offenses. Arrested were 22 year old Oliver Rubio Elias - Ayala, and Pedro Hernandez - Caceres, 21, both of Edgewater, and Douglas Omar Lemus - Pineda, of Greenbrier Lane. (08-006083)
