Two men who paddled a boat up a creek to rob a rural farmer's market were arrested after police found an accomplice asleep in a tent, authorities said. State police said Jason Faulkner, 22, of Bridgeville, and Justin Melvin, 20, of Magnolia, paddled a boat up the Marshy Hope Creek on Thursday and landed it close to Donnie's Market, west of Greenwood off Del. 404. They pried open the doors and stole about $400 worth of property, which included produce and clothing, said Cpl. Jeff Whitmarsh, a state police spokesman. Pursuing a lead, a state trooper and an officer from the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control took a DNREC boat south on the creek, and found Ethel Diehl, 20, of Dover, asleep in a tent, with some of the stolen items in plain sight, police said.
