Burglary - FAIRFIELD STREET, ST. ALBANS, VERMONT, ME, UNITED STATES

St. Albans city police are investigating the theft on Saturday of a large sum of cash and other items from a bed and breakfast on Fairfield Street. Someone broke into the business at 68 Fairfield St. between 7 and 10 p.m. The thief or thieves removed an undisclosed amount of cash from a safe. Also stolen were two diamond rings, old coins, savings bonds, passports, credit cards and other important papers, police said.
